Clemson. A.J. Terrell. 53. Scouting Report. CB. player. 123. Pick Analysis

The Dallas Cowboys continue to do work in the secondary, adding Clemson cornerback A.J. Terrell to the mix. Terrell is a fantastic athlete at the cornerback position showing an impressive combination of quickness and deep speed on the outside. The Cowboys must stack talent in the secondary in the 2020 NFL Draft and they do a nice job of doing so with their first two picks of this mock draft.

EDGE. Michigan State. 55. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Kenny Willekes. 54

If Bud Dupree ends up leaving in free agency, the Pittsburgh Steelers will likely look to address their edge-rusher situation in the 2020 NFL Draft. Kenny Willekes is not the most explosive or athlete player on the edge, but he is incredibly tough, hard-nosed and reliable in all facets of the game.

Willekes is unlikely to ever put up big numbers, but he just feels like a guy fits the mold for the Steelers. He would also pair well across from T.J. Watt.

Florida State. 55. player. 60. Scouting Report. DT. Marvin Wilson. Pick Analysis

Marvin Wilson can undoubtedly win with power and toughness on the inside but do not sleep on his ability to move. Wilson is quick off of the ball and shows enough upfield burst to create penetration on the interior. The Vikings find a guy who would provide immediate value and plenty of long-term upside.

player. Washington. C. Nick Harris. 56. 124. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Keeping Patrick Mahomes upright and healthy is more important than anything for the Kansas City Chiefs. Protecting him from the interior rush will only help keep Mahomes on the field. With this pick, the Chiefs select Nick Harris, a big and physical center from the University of Washington.

Harris is an absolute bulldog on the inside, consistently driving defenders down the field and working to keep his quarterback as clean as possible. The Chiefs must start investing in their offensive line and Harris is a guy who could come in and protect Mahomes for many years.

Wisconsin. Jonathan Taylor. 57. 10. Scouting Report. RB. Pick Analysis. player

Jonathan Taylor could end up becoming the best running back in the 2020 NFL draft class. He has great ball carrier vision and explodes through the hole with impressive burst. Taylor shows a good blend of speed and power that makes him an exciting prospect at the next level. He has even improved as a pass-catcher this season.

There is a lot to like about the Texans’ offense, but they currently lack a true bell-cow back that they can count on. Bringing in Taylor would give Houston a true workhorse back to help take the pressure off of Deshaun Watson and the passing attack.

Boise State. Curtis Weaver. player. Scouting Report. EDGE. 58. 16. Pick Analysis

Curtis Weaver is a thick and powerful edge defender who excels as a run defender. He does have a quick first step that allows him to create pressure off of the edge, but he is never going to be a freak pass rusher who puts up gaudy sack numbers at the next level.

In Weaver, the Bills find themselves a dependable edge rusher in the second round of this 2020 NFL draft scenario.
