The Indianapolis Colts are definitely in the conversation when it comes to drafting Jalen Reagor in April. Yes, the Colts do have some glaring needs on the defense and a question mark at the quarterback position, but wide receiver needs to be high on the priority list for this team. The good news is that the Colts have three picks in the top 60 in the 2020 NFL Draft, so they can afford to take a receiver with one of those selections.

Star wideout T.Y. Hilton has missed five games this season because of injury, and it’s been tough on the Colts offense in his place. Chester Rogers and Zach Pascal are receivers that are there for depth and don’t have the talent to get starting level snaps. Rookie wide receiver Parris Campbell has also missed significant time this year and hasn’t been able to carve out a role because of it.

Even though Reagor has a similar skill set to Hilton and Campbell in some regard, his explosiveness and ability to create separation is important for this offense, either if Jacoby Brissett continues to bridge the gap at quarterback, or if they draft someone for the future. Having three explosive targets in Hilton, Campbell, and Reagor would be a nice trio in Indy.
