Previewing this major NFL Week 12 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots.

When looking at the NFL Week 12 slate, it is hard not to take an immediate notice in the matchup between the New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys. These are two of the most successful franchises in the history of the NFL and the most popular teams we have in the game. There will undoubtedly be plenty of eyes on this one.

The Patriots enter this game with an impressive 9-1 record. Led by their incredible defense, they are rolling along as clearly one of the best teams in the entire league. However, Tom Brady and the Patriots offense has left plenty to be desired this season.

The Pats are still scoring at a high rate (28.7 points per game, third-most in the entire league), but their 359.9 total yards per game ranks middle of the pack. How long can the Pats continue to score at a high level while not consistently moving the ball? They have a tough test this week against the Cowboys’ seventh-ranked scoring defense.

Dak Prescott has been one of the best quarterbacks in the entire NFL this season and has really turned his game up in recent weeks. Prescott is firing on all cylinders, but he has yet to face a test as tough as the Patriots defense. The Pats have the best defense in the NFL and are especially impressive in the secondary.

Can Stephon Gilmore and the Pats defense match up well against Dak, Amari Cooper, Ezekiel Elliott and the Cowboys offense? This should be the most interesting and exciting bout of the NFL weekend slate.
