The Lions picked up Trey Flowers in free agency this past offseason, but they definitely need more help off the edge.

Flowers currently leads the team with five sacks in nine games, and Devon Kennard is second on the team with four sacks in nine games. Since Flowers moves around the formation, the Lions need a more consistent edge player who can wreak havoc on quarterbacks.

Bradlee Anae can be that guy.

Anae is absolutely devastating Pac 12 offensive linemen, and has been doing it all season long.

If the Lions can get a guy like that who can win off the edge and create pressure opportunities for all of the other guys on that defensive front, everyone else in this defense will benefit.
