Cleveland Browns 2020 NFL Draft: Complete 7-round mock draft
The Browns have a solid starting duo of Sheldon Richardson and Larry Ogunjobi at defensive tackle, but they could certainly use some more quality depth at the position. Here in the sixth round of this mock draft, Cleveland finds that depth by bringing in Tyler Clark out of Georgia.
Clark is a rock-solid defensive tackle prospect who shows nice power at the point of attack. He has powerful hands and has enough quickness to penetrate from the interior. Clark is a bit of an inconsistent player, but when he is fully engaged, he will pop off of the screen as a playmaker up front. With a nice combination of power and quickness, Clark has some legitimate upside as an NFL defensive lineman.
Kareem Hunt is unlikely to be back with the team next season and we have seen the Browns struggle with depth behind Nick Chubb. Taking a flyer on some running back upside late in the 2020 NFL Draft would make some sense for this team.
In this mock draft, the Browns bring in Stephen Carr out of USC. Carr was a top-tier running back prospect out of high school, showing fantastic natural speed and elusiveness on the field. Injuries have held him back throughout his college career, but when Carr has been on the field for USC, he has been impressive.
Carr has great short-area quickness and fantastic burst through the hole, and when he gets in open space, he has the speed to take it to the house from anywhere on the field. Simply put, he is a fantastic playmaker with the ball in his hands and could be a fantastic late-round steal if he can just stay healthy.
