Pick Analysis. OT. Washington. Trey Adams. Scouting Report. 2. player. 818

Trubisky has undoubtedly been a disaster for the Chicago Bears this season, but his offensive line has not done him any favors. The Bears quarterback has been running for his life all season long and has simply not had enough time to consistently make his progressions. Pace and company need to work on this offensive line throughout the offseason, bringing in both veteran options in free agency and rookies through the 2020 NFL Draft.

With their next second-round selection, the Bears work on their offensive line situation with the addition of Washington offensive tackle Trey Adams.

Adams is one of the most interesting offensive linemen in the 2020 NFL draft class. When on the field, Adams has always been one of the premier offensive tackles in college football. He is a tremendous pass protector who has an impressive combination of quickness, length and power that makes him an extremely intriguing player for the next level.

Unfortunately, Adams has dealt with injuries throughout his college career that has forced him out of action many times. The injuries of specific concern are a torn ACL suffered in 2017 and a back injury that forced him to the bench for most of 2018.

There is some risk here, but Adams looks great on the field this season. He is moving well and has not had any injury issues. The Chicago Bears swing for the fences with this, drafting Adams to hopefully help solidify their offensive line.
