Second round

There’s no guarantee that Tylan Wallace will leave school after his recent ACL injury which will force him to miss the remainder of the 2019 season and who knows how much of the offseason circuit.

With that being said, there’s no doubt about what Wallace has put enough on tape to find himself in the top 50 picks next April, and the Lions would be lucky to have him here.

Between Marvin Jones, Kenny Golladay, and TJ Hockenson, the Lions have something special in the making with their passing game, but Wallace is exactly the type of play creator from any part of the field who could really open things up for everyone else.

Wallace is outstanding in the open field and after the catch, but he can also track the ball deep downfield and give the Lions another vertical threat with elite speed.

We don’t know how he’s going to come back after his injury, and this pick would be somewhat of a luxury for the Lions, but with his abilities after the catch, Wallace in the short passing game could be an extension of the running game for this Detroit offense.
