35. Scouting Report. QB. Washington. Jacob Eason. player. Pick Analysis. 17

Marcus Mariota is out and Ryan Tannehill is nothing more than a stop-gap option. The Tennessee Titans need to find a new franchise quarterback, and luckily for them, there are plenty to go around in this mock draft. In this 2020 NFL draft scenario, the Titans make Jacob Eason their guy.

Eason was forced out of Georgia by Jake Fromm but has found success this year at Washington. Through nine games this season, Eason has completed 65.3 percent of his passes for 2,297 yards, 20 touchdowns and five interceptions. He has consistently shown off his impressive arm talent this season and has put himself in the conversation to be a first-round quarterback selection in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Eason truly has a special arm. He can make any throw on the football field, consistently hitting deep receivers in stride and making great throws to the far side of the field. His arm strength is obvious and he is not afraid to show it off. Eason is aggressive with his throwing windows, constantly fitting balls into tight windows with impressive velocity.

His accuracy is a bit inconsistent and his aggressiveness will get him in trouble at times. That being said, Eason is an extremely talented and interesting quarterback prospect who could come in and take the Titans’ offense to the next level.

Shaun Wade. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. CB. 50. Ohio State. 18

Shaun Wade plays slot cornerback for Ohio State, but that is primarily out of a specific need for his team. Wade is a big, long and athletic cornerback prospect who has tremendous natural coverage ability. He is undoubtedly good and versatile enough to play both on the outside and in the slot at the next level.

If the Detroit Lions end up trading Darius Slay like they considered doing before the 2019 NFL trade deadline, they will certainly have a need for a guy like Wade. Even if Slay remains on the roster, Wade is a talented player at an important defensive position. Never hurts to have a guy like that around.
