1. WR A.J. Green to Buffalo for 2020 3rd round draft pick, 2021 6th round pick

A.J. Green has been a star wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals over his career but its time for them to move forward without him. Green has over 1,000 yards in six of his nine NFL seasons but has missed considerable time due to injury.

Green injured his ankle during the preseason and was expected to miss 6-8 weeks of playing time. He was kept on the active roster instead of being sent to IR and has been limited in practice this week. His timetable is up in the air but he should see the field in the next couple of weeks, making him a prime candidate to move to save the Bengals cap space.

There are several teams in the market for Green’s services but after Sanu went to New England and Sanders went to the 49ers, the Bills are the favorite to land him as well as the Packers. I chose the Bills because they lack a true number one receiver and he can step into the Bills offense on day one and be a prime target for Josh Allen.

The Bills also have the cap space to extend Green’s contract as he’s a free agent in 2020. The Bills have changed their wide receiver core dramatically over this past offseason. They brought in John Brown from Baltimore and Cole Beasley from Dallas to pair with their two youngsters Isaiah McKenzie and Robert Foster. Green would fit in well as the number one receiver alongside Brown as the number two and Beasley in the slot.

The Bills also traded away Zay Jones for a draft pick just a couple of weeks ago, meaning they may be looking to add a new weapon. The asking price should not be too high for Green with his age and recent injury, so I believe a third and a sixth-round pick should seal the deal.
