Packers lead list of teams that should trade for Emmanuel Sanders
San Francisco 49ers
Perhaps no team in the NFL has as amicable of a relationship with the Denver Broncos and GM John Elway than John Lynch, Kyle Shanahan, and the 49ers.
The Broncos and 49ers have been preseason buddies pretty much forever. They hold joint practices together. They have made a number of trades together since Lynch came aboard the 49ers’ front office.
Denver was willing to led a key piece of their front office — Adam Peters — leave for a better job in San Francisco when Lynch was originally hired for the job.
The 49ers had initially blocked Rich Scangarello from interviewing with the Broncos, but ultimately relented and allowed him to pursue Denver’s offensive coordinator Vacancy.
The 49ers are now undefeated heading into the middle of the 2019 season, but their passing game is one area of weakness that Kyle Shanahan may want to address.
Sanders is available, and obviously he would be a seamless fit in that offense.
Because these two teams have worked so well together in the past, it wouldn’t surprise me to see a deal done here.
