New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints are so good, Sean Payton is winning with his backups offensively.

At least a few of them.

Teddy Bridgewater is a high-end backup quarterback and should probably be someone’s full-time starter, but replacing and winning without Drew Brees is not easy and the Saints are doing it.

They also just about hung 40 points on the Chicago Bears without Alvin Kamara.

The Saints are already without their second-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, but their core on this team is so strong that adding a player like Sanders to pair with Michael Thomas is probably worth the mid-round pick for them.

Especially with Ted Ginn Jr.’s drop issues, a player like Sanders would fortify the Saints’ offense and vault them even higher in the NFC race for 2020.
