2020 NFL Draft: Two-round mock draft featuring Joe Burrow going No. 2
The Seattle Seahawks love taking defensive linemen early in the draft and they love betting on athletic players with high upside. With this in mind, Julian Okwara seems like the 2020 NFL Draft prospect for them.
Okwara is a freak athlete on the edge, showing an explosive first step and ease bend around the edge at all times. He is also relatively powerful at the point of attack and plays disciplined football against the run. Okwara has all of the physical skills to be an absolute star at the next level, but his on-field production has never matched his obvious skill-set. In this mock draft, the Seahawks take a shot on Okwara to see if they can unlock all of his potential.
This season, we have consistently seen how important it is for the Kansas City Chiefs to protect quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Nothing is going to hold Mahomes back from dominating this league other than injuries. The Chiefs need to work to keep him healthy by any means necessary.
This means aggressively attacking all offensive line talent in the 2020 NFL Draft. With their first pick of this mock draft, the Chiefs secure their center situation by taking the best interior offensive lineman in the draft, Wisconsin’s Tyler Biadasz.
Biadasz is a mean and nasty offensive lineman who will lock onto a defender and drive him down the field until the whistle is blown. He is quick off of the ball and powerful at the point of attack. Biadasz is a strong run blocker and pass protection who makes the most out of his abilities with great pad level and hand usage.
