Dallas Cowboys 2020 NFL Draft: Complete 7-round mock draft

The tight end class in the 2020 NFL Draft leaves plenty to be desired. That being said, there are a few guys who could come in and make an immediate impact. The Dallas Cowboys have an obvious long-term need at the tight end position and would certainly be interested in adding one to the mix if the right value came along.

Jared Pinkney in the fourth round is that right kind of value. Pinkney is a big and powerful tight end who knows how to get open in the middle of the field, catches the ball well and shows a bit of power after the catch. Pinkney is also a capable blocker who has more than enough functional strength to hold up as a true inline tight end.

Here in the fifth round of this 2020 NFL draft scenario, the Dallas Cowboys find some quality offensive line depth. Ezra Cleveland is an athletic and mobile offensive tackle prospect who has obvious upside as a pass protector at the next level. He gets off of the ball quickly, moves his feet well and can hold his own against power.

Cleveland would benefit from cleaner technique and better pad level, but he is a talented player who could grow into a legitimate starting tackle at the next level.

With their final selection, the Cowboys pick from their home state of Texas, bringing in Longhorns wide receiver Devin Duvernay. A quick and explosive player with the ball in his hands, Duvernay has some nice upside at the next level. He is a sharp route runner who can create some separation, shows solid hands and can make plays after the catch.

Duvernay does lack the ideal length and overall size to play on the outside and will struggle against press coverage, but he is an athletic and tough player who certainly has a chance to stick at the next level.
