RB. Oklahoma State. 3. 856. Pick Analysis. Chuba Hubbard. player. Scouting Report

Oklahoma State running back Chuba Hubbard is one of the most electric players in all of college football and is establishing himself as a premier running back prospect in the 2020 NFL draft class. Through six games, Hubbard has carried the ball 162 times for 1,094 yards (6.8 yards per carry average) and 13 touchdowns.

Hubbard is an explosive playmaker who shows fantastic quickness and elusiveness in the open field. He is an extremely patient runner who waits for his blocks well, but when that hole opens up, Hubbard explodes through with impressive natural burst.

He is an incredibly difficult player to tackle in space and has the speed to take it to the house from anywhere on the field. Hubbard is an underdeveloped pass-catcher and he must work at that in order to reach his upside at the next level. That being said, this guy is an absolute playmaker who could step in and take on a major role for the Miami Dolphins right away.

player. 818. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. CB. Washington. Myles Bryant. 5

Listed at 5-foot-9, 185 pounds, there are always going to be size concerns about Washington cornerback Myles Bryant. That being said, Bryant is a smooth and explosive cornerback prospect who can play a role at the next level.

Bryant is a strong man-to-man defender who uses his impressive speed and quickness to consistently stick to his receiver. He is particularly impressive in off-man coverage where he closes on the ball extremely well.

Bryant is also impressive against the run, showing an innate ability to shed blocks with slippery elusiveness. He is also a physical player and a reliable tackler in space. Bryant’s size will likely force him to primarily defend the slot at the next level. However, in today’s NFL, having a strong defender in the slot can be incredibly valuable. I like Bryant’s overall game and think he is a nice late-round gem in the 2020 NFL Draft class.
