The former Virginia Tech transfer has been more talent than overall production at this point, but he does have 4.5 sacks and 6.5 tackles for loss in his last seven games overall to go along with his exceptional burst off the edge.

At 6-foot-3, 245 pounds, Hill is a guy who relies on explosiveness and short-area quickness to beat offensive linemen to the backfield, and he’s starting to do it with more regularity.

He was dismissed from the Virginia Tech program, so that will have to be vetted, and he’s going to get a chance to prove what they gave up when they let him go so we’ll see if he can keep his emotions in check and just go out there and play football.

Hill’s talent is undeniable but he needs to pick up his production with the Hurricanes if he’s going to get picked in the top 100 like he’s capable of. He’s shown scouts plenty this year.
