Denver Broncos 2020 NFL Draft: Complete seven-round mock draft
With inside linebacker being such an issue for the Denver Broncos, we decided to double-dip at the position in this mock draft. While Fisher is more of a power player, Oklahoma linebacker Kenneth Murray is more of a speed-based player.
Murray shows tremendous natural instincts both against the run and in coverage. He is a quick linebacker who flies around the field with ease and always seems to be involved in the play. Murray is a true sideline-to-sideline defender who rarely gets beaten to the edge. He is also a consistent tackler in space and shows solid overall coverage ability for an inside linebacker prospect.
I hate not being able to address the Denver Broncos offensive line until the fifth round of this mock draft, but this is a team that needs help at many positions. Instead of forcing an offensive line pick earlier, I tried to let the draft come to me and find consistent value. An offensive line pick really did stand out as a nice value selection until Ezra Cleveland in the fifth round.
Cleveland is not an elite-level 2020 NFL draft prospect, but he is an interesting player who has some nice upside at the next level. He is quick off of the ball and moves his feet extremely well in space. Cleveland mirrors opposing edge rushers well and will consistently reach the second level in the run game.
The Boise State tackle is not the most naturally strong offensive lineman in the 2020 NFL Draft, lacking ideal power at the point of attack. However, he does show good competitive toughness and strong overall hand usage that helps him compete against stronger players. Cleveland is not a finished product, but he is an intriguing player who could grow into a great piece for the Denver Broncos up front.
