The Cleveland Browns are arguably the single most important team in the NFL this season, and they will kick off their regular season with a home matchup against the Tennessee Titans.

After an impressive rookie campaign, Baker Mayfield is back to lead the Browns offense, and this time around, he has plenty of weapons to work with. The addition of Odell Beckham this offseason will prove to be absolutely massive for this team. Beckham is one of the best and most explosive receivers in the entire NFL. His presence on the field alone will help take the Browns offense to the next level.

Beckham is fantastic, but he is just one of the many dynamic offensive players who Mayfield will have at his disposal. Jarvis Landry will be making plays out of the slot all season long, Nick Chubb appears primed to break out in a massive way and David Njoku has the physical tools to be a star at tight end.

The offensive line could be an issue here, but Cleveland is primed to put up massive offensive numbers this season. Led by a dynamic edge rush duo of Myles Garrett and newcomer Olivier Vernon, they should also have a top-tier defensive unit.

There is much-less excitement surrounding the Titans this season, but they are still a talented team with playmakers on both sides of the ball. Their defense is rock solid and should be able to keep them in any game. Offensively, the Titans will rely heavily on running back Derrick Henry, who is looking build upon his breakout performance from last season.

How far the Titans go this season depends on the play of quarterback Marcus Mariota. If Mariota can become the dynamic playmaker at the quarterback that we expected him to become when he was taken second overall by the Titans in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Titans are going to be a tough team for anybody to beat.

However, if he continues to struggle, Mariota could quickly get benched in favor of Ryan Tannehill and may have a tough time finding a job on the open market this offseason. This is a make-or-break season for Mariota and the Titans will likely go as far as he can take them.
