Round 5, 140th Overall: Jeff Thomas, WR, Miami

In the fifth round of this mock draft, the Oakland Raiders take another wide receiver with a high ceiling. Miami’s Jeff Thomas is much smaller than Mims, but his speed is comparable and he is much more of a threat with the ball in his hands.

Thomas is an extremely quick and elusive receiver who can shake his way open against defenders and leave them in his dust after the catch. He also shows an extremely reliable set of hands and does a great job of turning upfield immediately after he secures the catch. Thomas is an extremely exciting player who could end up being a massive steal this late in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Round 6, 172nd Overall: Myles Bryant, CB, Washington

Listed at 5-foot-9, 185 pounds, Myles Bryant is always going to have to play nickel in the NFL. He simply does not have the size to play on the outside. However, his short-area quickness and toughness make him an intriguing prospect at the position.

Bryant plays strong off-man coverage and can have success in press against smaller players. He is also an extremely willing and reliable run defender who is incredibly explosive coming downhill.

Round 7, 204th Overall: Ray Lima, DL, Iowa State

With their final selection of this mock draft, the Raiders find themselves some solid depth on the defensive line. Ray Lima is not the most explosive defensive line prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft, but he is a rock-solid player who shows strong pad level on all downs and knows how to use his hands well. Lima is never going to create much pressure as a pass rusher, but he is a solid run defender who could quickly become a stable piece up front.
