Jaguars vs. Dolphins

First look: Nick Foles as a Jaguar

The Jacksonville Jaguars made a bold move this offseason signing quarterback Nick Foles, the former Super Bowl MVP.

Foles, up to this point, hasn’t played in the preseason but he’s expected to see some action against the Miami Dolphins, who are also breaking in a (couple of) new quarterback(s) in Josh Rosen and Ryan Fitzpatrick.

There won’t be anything to overreact to here in this game as far as the quarterbacks are concerned, but it will be nice for Jaguars fans to see their new QB in action, and for Dolphins fans it could be a huge swing of the pendulum for one quarterback or the other.

Arguably the best defender in the SEC last year (tough to beat Quinnen Williams, but Jaguars first-round pick Josh Allen was great) and one of the best defenders in the ACC — Dolphins first-rounder Christian Wilkins — have played well this preseason and look like franchise cornerstone pieces for both of these teams.
