Ravens vs. Eagles

Battle of stud rookie running backs

The Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles are two very different styles of offense, but they both share one common quality — they are creative.

The Ravens have Lamar Jackson at QB and the Eagles have Carson Wentz. Those guys aren’t the focus in this game, however. The focus for those of us looking at this year’s rookie class and making plans for fantasy football will be the rookie running backs.

For the Eagles, it’s second-round pick Miles Sanders out of Penn State. Sanders’ fanfare coming out of college was nothing in comparison to his former teammate and now division rival Saquon Barkley, but he has shown out for the Eagles thus far and looks like he will have a chance to take the lion’s share of carries this season for them.

For the Ravens, it’s Justice Hill, a fourth-round pick out of Oklahoma State. Hill has been making guys miss like crazy in his short time in preseason play, leading some to believe he could be the best back in Baltimore…

Hill’s speed is a major weapon for the Ravens and with some of the formations they’ve been using, he could end up seeing a lot of touches in 2019.
