Panthers vs. Patriots

New England’s stellar rookie class

I wrote about this earlier on Thursday, but the New England Patriots have a stellar rookie class on their hands.

Leading the way right now in terms of impressing in pretty much every possible way is third-round pick Chase Winovich, the young man who won our hearts on Good Morning Football as an unofficial NFL Draft correspondent.

Winovich is quirky and fun, but the dude can flat out ball and is a menace on the field for opposing teams.

He’s got 12 total pressures in just two games, is playing all around the formation, and has three sacks. The Panthers might want to keep Cam Newton on ice for this one.

Carolina has high hopes for their own rookie class this year, and Brian Burns has been receiving rave reviews all offseason.
