New England Patriots

The Patriots are constantly making moves to improve their team, and picking up quality players in the summer months is a specialty of theirs. They have some turnover on the defensive line. Malcolm Brown and Trey Flowers left in free agency, and the Pats reloaded by adding Michael Bennett and drafting Chase Winovich. Lawrence Guy and Danny Shelton lead the group on the interior now.

Daniels could come in and play on all three downs for this defense. He’s best suited for early downs, but as described earlier, he is very good at generating pressure. Head coach Bill Belichick would love to add someone with the work ethic, tenacity, and technique that Daniels brings to the table, and it would be a classic, savvy move that we are accustomed to seeing.

New England is a little more cap-strapped than the other teams mentioned so far, but there’s no doubt they could get creative with Daniels’ contract and even make some moves to make room for him.

I’m sure the league and fans would be thrilled to see the Patriots get another quality player, but it is a realistic scenario to see Daniels in a Patriots uniform.
