1. Trading for Antonio Brown

There was no more impactful move the Oakland Raiders made in 2019 than their trade and subsequent re-signing of wide receiver Antonio Brown.

Because of the way Brown pushed his way out of Pittsburgh, the Raiders got him for pennies on the dollar in terms of the trade capital they gave up, and Brown is still, well, Brown.

Brown is arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL. The Raiders didn’t have to give up too much in order to effectively replace Amari Cooper and also get a first-round pick in return. They basically traded Cooper and a couple of mid-round picks for Brown and a first-round pick.

How’s that sound?

The personality issues here are undoubtedly not to be overlooked, but when Brown is on the field, he’s one of the biggest difference makers in the NFL.
