Left Field: Kyler Murray

Ah yes, Kyler Murray, you knew he would show up on here eventually. Murray was the ninth overall selection of the 2018 MLB Draft. Instead of joining the Oakland Athletics minor league system, Murray continued to chase his NFL dreams and ended up being selected first overall by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Murray is an exceptional athlete on the field no matter what sport he is playing. He was an outfielder in college who shows tremendous upside at the plate and in the field. A recent top ten pick in the MLB draft is certainly good enough for this squad and Murray is a perfect fit in left field.

Center Field: Odell Beckham Jr.

We all love watching Odell Beckham Jr. chase down balls and make catches on the football field. Watching him consistently chase down balls in center field would be incredibly enjoying as well.

With a tall and long frame, Beckham may not be much of an offensive asset on this team, but his prowess in the outfield would be absolutely breath-taking to watch. Like most guys on this team, Beckham is the kind of athlete who is going to be successful no matter what he does. Playing center field for this team is no exception.

Right Field: Cam Newton

Since they have to make the long throw to third base and the plate, every right fielder should have a strong arm. With this in mind, I wanted to find an athletic quarterback to play in right field and Cam Newton stood out as the obvious choice.

Next. Way-too-early 2020 NFL Mock Draft. dark

Newton is a big and strong player who I could see handling a bat extremely well. His offensive upside would be absolutely massive and his strong throwing arm and obvious athleticism would play extremely well in right field.
