Jordan Hicks, LB

The Cardinals added not one but two players to their defensive front seven with Super Bowl rings.

Jordan Hicks has been injury prone throughout his NFL career, but he’s also been a fantastic linebacker when healthy.

One of the best all-around players in the game at his position, if Hicks can stay healthy, he can be a force in the middle of a defense.

He excels in coverage and can not only play the run but blitz and make plays on the quarterback.

The Cardinals’ off-ball linebackers were absolutely terrible prior to Hicks’ signing. This is a position they should still be looking to in the NFL Draft or possibly even as we get into the bargain free agent period, but Hicks is a great start.

He signed a four-year contract — the longest of any contract Arizona has agreed to with a free agent — worth $34 million ($8.5M/year).
