Bryce Love (RB, Stanford)

Most people thought there was no way Stanford would be able to replace Christian McCaffrey at running back in terms of sheer explosiveness. Then Bryce Love took over the starting job and ran for 2,118 yards in 2017 at a whopping 8.1 yards per carry. His sheer speed, quickness, and agility gave defensive coaches nightmares trying to game plan for him. Many draft projections had him going in the 1st round thanks to his versatile potential.

Then 2018 ruined it. He battled health issues for most of the year, missing multiple games and then in the final game of the season on the very last play he tore his ACL. It was a cruel twist of fate for the young running back and it likely cost him millions of dollars. That said, he’s homerun capability could be potentially devastating in that Matt Nagy offense. Especially in combination with Tarik Cohen.
