Best fits: Green Bay Packers, Baltimore Ravens

Two teams who might be looking to upgrade the running back position this offseason at a discounted cost are the Green Bay Packers and Baltimore Ravens.

T.J. Yeldon could be a good fit for either of those teams.

Even with exceptionally poor quarterback play, Yeldon has proven himself a very capable back in this league, especially catching passes out of the backfield. He had 55 receptions this past season and a career-high four receiving touchdowns.

Over the past two seasons, he’s averaging almost six yards per touch as a runner and receiver, and could benefit greatly from playing in an offense like Matt LaFleur’s in Green Bay (look at what LaFleur did with two very different backs in Derrick Henry and Dion Lewis this past season) or Greg Roman’s offense in Baltimore.

I don’t think we’ve seen the best of Yeldon in the NFL yet, and he’s just 25 years old.
