2019 Senior Bowl: Little known prospects who can make some noise
Andy Isabella, WR, UMass
Andy Isabella enters Senior Bowl week as a prospect many in the NFL Draft community have been raving about for a while now, but the rest of the NFL world is about to be exposed to one of the nation’s most underrated receivers.
At UMass, Isabella played inside as a slot, outside, and returned kicks and punts when needed. He’s got some sweet feet and sure hands, and really just does everything well.
Isabella has great quickness and long speed but he’s going to surprise people with his ability to win contested catch situations and with tracking the ball deep downfield.
This is not strictly a short-intermediate player. Isabella has a pretty well-rounded game and despite poor QB play at UMass he was still able to put most of what he’s capable of doing on display.
He looks like he can be a quarterback’s best friend as a guy who plays bigger than his size (5-foot-10, 190 pounds) and can create after the catch.
