2019 Senior Bowl: Little known prospects who can make some noise
Oshane Ximines, DE, Old Dominion
You can count on one hand the number of athletes Old Dominion has sent to the NFL.
No, seriously.
Ronnie Cameron, Rashaad Coward, Rick Lovato, D.J. Morrell, and Larry Pinkard are the five players who played their college ball at Old Dominion that got a shot in the NFL, all within the last seven years.
Oshane Ximines is set to change the narrative in a big way.
Ximines is in line to be the first Old Dominion player actually drafted into the NFL and according to Mel Kiper Jr. of ESPN, he’s the 21st best player in this year’s draft class.
Ximines racked up 12 sacks, 18.5 tackles for loss, and four forced fumbles this past season and has had four straight years of pretty steady and improved production.
He’s got a chance in Mobile to show off his pass rush repertoire against top offensive linemen and prove he belongs in the top 40 discussion.
