7. Sony Michel – RB – New England Patriots

After all the backlash the Patriots faced for this pick, with people saying he has fumble issues, or a knee injury among others, the Patriots may be the last ones laughing. The first round pick out of Georgia has become one of the most lethal weapons for the New England Patriots. Michel ran for 931 yards in just 13 games, a 1,145 yard 16 game pace, as well as picking up six regular season touchdowns for the Patriots.

Michel got his first playoff experience last week and was the true difference maker for the Pats. Michel ran all over the Charger’s defense for 129 yards and three touchdowns. Michel was excellent in his first playoff performance which helped lead to one of Brady’s nicest games of the year. The AFC Championship game looks like it could be very cold, which could affect the Patriots ability to throw, which means Michel could heavily be leaned on in just his second ever playoff game.
