The Cleveland Browns have tried to stay patient with Emmanuel Ogbah over the past three years. Thus far it hasn’t been rewarded. His production has steadily declined thanks to constant nagging injury issues. At some point, the team has to make a decision on whether they want to move on and find somebody else who can compliment Myles Garrett. John Dorsey isn’t shy about trading players he didn’t draft and this is certainly no exception.

The Carolina Panthers are trying to get younger on defense. Nowhere more so than in the front seven. Defensive end is a spot in dire need of help. Ron Rivera is no stranger to taking calculated risks on talented castoffs from other teams. Grabbing a player like Ogbah would be something he’d embrace. The Browns get a pick back in the deal while Carolina at least adds some needed depth to a problem area.
