Jared Goff – Winner

After starting the year on fire, the Los Angeles Rams seem to find themselves in some sort of funk. The Rams must keep winning in order to keep up with the Saints and not be caught by the Bears. But here we are, and the Rams find them selves in a two-game losing streak.

In the last two games, Jared Goff has thrown for just 519 yards, zero touchdowns, and six interceptions. Goff is not completely to blame, as the Rams as a whole have not looked the best, but Goff sticks out more than anyone else. He is making poor throws, bad decisions, and looks like the Jeff Fisher-era Goff.

Sunday night against the Eagles was no different. This was supposed to be a get-right game for the Rams as they faced the Carson Wentz-less Eagles at home. Many expected it to be a blowout, and Goff was supposed to pick apart a makeshift Eagles secondary. But it was anything but that, and the Eagles looked dominating at parts of the game. They were in Goff’s face all game long. They forced him into two interceptions and one forced fumble.

The Rams now sit one game behind the Saints and one game ahead of the Bears. If the Rams want the first round bye and home field advantage, Goff has to figure something out. The Rams whole team is dependent on the type of play the get out of Goff. They get what should be a good get-right game against the Cardinals this week.
