DeAndre Hopkins – Winner

Hopefully you remembered that there was football on this past Saturday, because if you didn’t, you missed a dominating performance by DeAndre Hopkins. After falling short to the Colts a week ago, the Texans were looking to get back on track against the Jets. The Jets put up a good fight, but were ultimately no match for Hopkins.

Hopkins was on the receiving end of both touchdowns for the Texans’ offense. His first was early in the second, where he got a step on the secondary and made a spectacular adjustment on the ball to make the 45 yard catch for the touchdown.

Hopkins would not stop there, as down by three with just two minutes left, he made an impossible grab while being held by the Jets secondary. Hopkins would go on to finish with 10 catches for 170 yards and two touchdowns en route to a Texans win.

The Texans’ win now puts them at second place in the AFC, which would give them a first round bye. With two tough games left against the revamped Eagles and division rival Jaguars, look for the Texans to continue to lean on Hopkins.
