Dak Prescott – Loser

Since trading for Amari Cooper, the Cowboys have been exceptional. They went into Indianapolis riding high on a five-game winning streak. Their defense had been tough, and Dak Prescott was looking like he did his rookie year. A win, and the Cowboys would lock up their division. Lose and they would leave the door open to the Eagles and Redskins to potentially steal the spot.

Prescott and the Cowboys looked like they toke a giant step back on Sunday. There offense could not finish. They dominated time of possession in the first half, with three long drives into Colts territory. A blocked kicked, and failed fourth down on the Colts’ three-yard line left the Cowboys scoreless in the first half. Things wouldn’t get any better in the second half as the Cowboys were unable to put up a single point all game long.

Prescott was less than inspiring on Sunday. He threw for just 206 yards and one interception. He missed receivers all game long and looked lost behind an offensive line that was missing Zack Martin. Prescott also failed to connect much with Amari Cooper, who has been the focal point of the offense the last few weeks.

The Cowboys are now just one game ahead of the Redskins and Eagles, who both got unexpected wins on Sunday. The Cowboys must win out in order to avoid losing their wild card spot.
