NFL Week 13: Winners and losers around the league
Russell Wilson – Winner
Russell Wilson has been playing exceptional football in the last few weeks. In the last four games he has thrown 11 touchdowns and zero interceptions. He has led the Seahawks to a 7-5 record after starting the season 2-3.
Sundays performance against the 49ers is just another example of how great Russell Wilson really is. Russ threw the ball just 17 times, and completed just 11 passes for 185 yards. So what makes him a winner? Russell Wilson competed four of his 11 completions for touchdowns. Much like he has done all season, he was super efficient with the ball making his minimal throws count.
Wilson now has 29 touchdowns on the year and just five interceptions. He is on pace to throw for more touchdowns than he ever has in his career while also staying under double digit interceptions. Wilson has his team back on track to make the playoffs and is playing some of his best football ever, and Sunday was another perfect example of Russ’s greatness.
