Christian McCaffrey – Winner

Despite the Panthers falling short to the Buccaneers, McCaffrey was not to blame. McCaffrey has been on a tear since the teams bye week and is on pace for a 1,000 yard rushing season and an 800 yard receiving season. He is becoming an elite threat between the tackles and lined up wide as a receiver.

This was put on display again in week 13. As a receiver, he caught nine passes for 55 yards and a touchdown. Out of the backfield, McCaffrey had one of his most efficient games ever as a running back, totaling 106 yards on just 10 carries. Coaching is to blame here, on a day where McCaffrey picked up an average of 10+ yards a carry they decided to give him just 10 carries.

It leaves one to wonder what could’ve happened had the Panthers decided to use him more.

McCaffrey will look to continue his breakout year two next week against the Browns as the Panthers look to keep their playoff hopes alive.
