Washington Redskins (6-4) @ Dallas Cowboys (5-5)

Washington Redskins – How do the Redskins react to losing Alex Smith?

By now we have all heard the unfortunate news about Alex Smith’s devastating injury that will sideline him for at least the remainder of this year. Up until this point the Redskins appeared to be the favorites to win the NFC East entering Sunday’s game against the Giants at 6-3.

They now sit at 6-4 and run the risk of being tied with the Cowboys for the top spot in the East depending on the outcome of Thursdays game. They turn to nine year veteran Colt McCoy.

The rest of their season falls on the shoulders of how #12 can perform in the spotlight on Thanksgiving Day.

Dallas Cowboys – Can Dak and Zeke continue to build off of their recent success?

As mentioned before, the Cowboys now sit just one game back from tying the Redskins for the division lead.

Since trading for Amari Cooper, the Cowboys are 2-1 and have won their last two in a row. Both of which were against tough opponents, the Falcons and Eagles. The addition of Cooper has been very obvious for this offense.

The duo of Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott is starting to flash the greatness we saw from them in 2016. It will be very important for them to build off of this momentum and help their team beat the Washington Redskins.
