31. Kansas City Chiefs

player. 124. . CB. Ohio State. Kendall Sheffield . 31

The Chiefs have done everything they can to find help at cornerback after trading Marcus Peters away to Los Angeles. They’ve had mixed success in that regard. Good quarterbacks have had their way with the defense this year but lesser ones haven’t. So it feels like they might be one more good piece away from being secure. Ohio State has been producing top corners the past couple years with Marshon Lattimore and Denzel Ward. Kendall Sheffield comes from the same breeding ground. He’s athletic, fluid, physical and doesn’t give much wiggle room to receivers in man coverage. If the Chiefs can overlook his size, they’ve got a good player.
