11. New York Jets

EDGE. Kentucky. Josh Allen . 11. player. 30.

Name the last time the New York Jets had a compelling edge rusher. Basically, their defense flows around Leonard Williams right now. When he has a big game, they tend to do really well. When he doesn’t? It can get bad in a hurry. They need to take advantage of Williams’ presence in the middle with somebody on the outside who can get to the quarterback. Somebody with speed, explosiveness, and athleticism. Josh Allen is exactly the sort of guy for them. He exhibits all sorts of versatility, able to drop in coverage when asked or even move to inside linebacker. His improvement rushing the passer this year for Kentucky proves he’s ideal for the job.
