2019 NFL Draft: Mocking the top 10 picks at week eight
Cleveland has allowed a league-high 31 sacks this year after losing Joe Thomas at left tackle. They replaced him with undrafted free agent Desmond Harrison and have started Chris Hubbard at right tackle.
Greg Little gives the Browns balance on their offensive line and can take over one either side in front of Baker Mayfield. The Browns need to protect their most valuable asset, and this is the best way to accomplish that.
Jon Gruden said pass rushers are hard to find after trading Khalil Mack, so he will take advantage of a very deep pass rusher class with one of his three first round picks.
Brian Burns has already set his career high in sacks this year with nine for the Seminors and is emerging as a top-10 pick this year. Oakland will gladly add him to their defense.
Tennessee is a tough team to pick for despite all their shortcomings. They have pieces on offense to win, but they’re still developing and learning how to win at the NFL level. We’ve seen this with Corey Davis, their first round pick in 2017, how difficult it is for rookie wide receivers to break into the league.
The Titans, however, have several free agents on defense this offseason and need to fill those holes. Two edge rushers, Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan, are among the pending free agents. That’s why Montez Sweat is the pick here. He played on and off the line for Mississippi State and can replace either Orakpo or Morgan next year.
At this moment I do not see another quarterback worthy of going in the top-10. That can change between now and draft day in April with names like Drew Lock, Brett Rypien, Will Grier, and others likely available.

Jacksonville is still on the hook for another year of Blake Bortles with a $21 million cap hit. He’s proven to be effective when given a strong running game, something the Jags have missed with Leonard Fournette out.
With so much money invested into Bortles the Jaguars should add more protection up front with offensive tackle David Edwards.
Hopefully Cam Robinson returns from his ACL injury and Edwards can step in at right tackle long-term for the Jaguars. It gives them bookends around Bortles in 2019 and potentially sets them up well for a rookie should Bortles fall apart again.
