2018 NFL Trade Deadline: One player on the block for each team
By Erik Lambert
3. Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens have a logjam going at the tight end position. After adding 1st round pick Hayden Hurst and 3rd round pick Mark Andrews this past offseason, it has pretty much put the writing on the wall for former 2nd round pick Maxx Williams. He missed his window of opportunity due to a series of nagging injury setbacks. Baltimore finally ran out of patience.
That said, it doesn’t mean Williams lacks value. He’s still young and a good athlete. He’s shown in limited chances that he can still be a threat in the passing game with 14 catches for 127 yards. There may be a team out there who can make use of that if they’re lacking a true target at the position. He should be cheap to get since the Ravens have plenty of options already.
