Here are your potential options for starting quarterback:

Andy Dalton:

The Red Rocket we call Andy Dalton is not having a bad year as far as fantasy points are concerned. Dalton has shown flashes of great playmaking this season, but his four interceptions last week against Carolina are something to be wary of.

Dalton has thrown for over 240 yds per contest so far this season, and is ranked the 12th overall at the quarterback position. Something to keep in mind if you elect to go elsewhere, he’s only owned in just over a quarter of fantasy leagues.

Blake Bortles:

More from Fantasy Football

Bortles has a great group of receivers on this year’s Jags group to launch the ball at. The excellent play of Dede Westbrook and Keelan Cole has helped Bortles fantasy stock rise significantly.

Take advantage of the use of Bortles, while Leonard Fournette and T.J. Yeldon are both listed as questionable with lower-body injuries. Although Bortles struggled to get much of anything done against Tennessee on Sunday, he’s still a viable starting option.

Baker Mayfield:

So it’s officially Baker time in The Land. Mayfield looked fairly impressive on Thursday night against the Jets, after coming in following Tyrod Taylor’s injury. Hue Jackson announced Monday that Mayfield will be starting Week Four, and I cannot wait.

Mayfield could be that dark horse quarterback, he has plenty of capable receivers to get the ball to, and when needed he’s not afraid to run and pick up that first down. Mayfield could be a hot commodity headed into Week Four with fantasy owners, just so guys can say “yeah, I’ve got Baker on my fantasy team.”

Ryan Tannehill:

Who really thought Miami would start the season out 3-0? If you’re raising your hand right now, put it down, you’re lying. Tannehill is owned by a whopping 7.9 percent of leagues at the moment, however, that could change with the waiver wire.

Tannehill has grown from a fantasy stats standpoint each week, maximizing his points and minimizing his turnovers. Miami HC Adam Gase is an offensive guru, who knows maybe he just struck gold and properly tapped Tannehill’s true potential.
