Even though they were without Mosley, rookie Kenny Young had an amazing performance in his first start (led team with 10 total tackles) and Patrick Onwuasor had an interception in the 4th quarter.

The Ravens used Tony Jefferson more near the line of scrimmage as that helped out stopping the run game and used Anthony Levine more to cover the running backs out on the flat routes. Eric Weddle was in charge of the defensive communications and made some adjustments after the bad start.

The pass rush also showed up this game as Terrell Suggs had a sack and a half, Matthew Judon had the other half sack, and Za’Darius Smith had one sack as well. This pass rush was nonexistent for the Ravens in the Bengals game and has to pressure Ben Roethlisberger if they want to win this Sunday against the Steelers.

Denver quarterback Case Keenum was pressured on quite a few dropbacks and made a critical mistake as the pick by Onwuasor essentially sealed the game (was a pick six but was called back due to an illegal block in the back penalty).

The Ravens secondary missing Jimmy Smith limited Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders to five catches each and under 70 yards with no receiving touchdowns (Sanders rushed for a touchdown early on a jet sweep).

Brandon Carr was the weak link in this game but the rest of the cornerback group with Marlon Humphery and Tavon Young rebounded from last week (gave up three touchdowns to A.J. Green) and had solid coverage in this game.

The Ravens will have a tough task covering Antonio Brown and Juju Smith-Schuster next week as the Steelers are trying to revitalize their season going 0-1-1 in their first two games.
