The Ravens offensive line struggled and gave up four sacks to the Bengals in week two and they made sure they game planned against the NFL sack leader (now tied for first with four sacks), Von Miller.

Even though Shane Ray and rookie Bradley Chubb had a sack each, they shut down Miller, using the short passing game and run game to throw Miller off. Offensive tackles Ronnie Stanley and James Hurst did enough to not let Miller get to Flacco the whole game. They made sure to chip Miller and made sure double teams went his way.

The Ravens will go against T.J. Watt (three sacks) and the Steelers pass rush Sunday night. It will be a big test to see if the offensive line can hold up well enough for consecutive games.

Rookie Josey Jewell made his first start next to Todd Davis as Brandon Marshall was limited in this game. The Broncos’ pass rush did not do enough to disrupt Flacco and only had two total sacks with a few other pressures, but that is not enough with the amount of time the Ravens offense was on the field.

The Broncos secondary was also injury-riddled, with Brock and Adam Jones (prior to the game) out, leaving the trio of corners as Chris Harris Jr., Bradley Roby (who has struggled this year), and rookie Issac Yiadom.

If they have a repeat performance against the red-hot Kansas City Chiefs offense, they will likely go 2-2 after next week.
