What’re the odds?

With the Supreme Court ruling nixing a federal ban on sports gambling over the summer, new doors have opened for fans to place legal bets from the comfort of their couch.

Thanks to our partners at OddsShark we have the latest betting lines for Sunday’s game in Tampa.

Odds

Line: Philadelphia (-3)

Over/Under: 43.5

Predicted Score: 28-23 Buccaneers win

It’s odd to see Philadelphia be a three-point favorite but have the Bucs predicted to win, cover the spread, and have the total go over. Last week the Eagles were just two-point favorites over Atlanta, a team they knocked off in the playoffs.

Philadelphia not having Carson Wentz clearly tips the scale towards the Buccaneers in this one, and not having Alshon Jeffery or Darren Sproles doesn’t help. Nick Foles did enough to win last week against Atlanta, but it was a little too close for comfort.

Tampa Bay showed they can score, but can they hold off the Eagles and Foles? Vegas doesn’t think so.
