The Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers face off with backup quarterbacks at the helm

When the schedule makers looked at this game the prospects of Carson Wentz facing Jameis Winston were enticing. Two young quarterbacks ready to take another step forward in their careers after being top-two draft picks.

Fast-forward to Sunday afternoon and it’ll be Nick Foles versus Ryan Fitzpatrick in Tampa Bay.

Just as surprising as the matchup is the effectiveness of both Foles and Fitzpatrick recently. Foles obviously took Philadelphia to a Super Bowl victory, and Fitzpatrick dropped 48 points on the Saints last week in New Orleans.

Fitzpatrick had one of the best games of his career, coming up one point short of his career-best 49 scored in 2010 as the Bills starter against Cincinnati.

Philadelphia’s offense didn’t look at dynamic last week against Atlanta, scoring 18 and being without Wentz and Alshon Jeffery. The defense came up big, especially in the red zone against a loaded Falcons offense.

Here’s how to watch the game Sunday between Philadelphia and Tampa Bay.
