The Denver Broncos are still looking to exact some revenge against the Seattle Seahawks from Super Bowl 48 and have a chance to do so on Sunday.

Bitterness still lingers in Denver Broncos Country after the team’s Super Bowl 48 blowout loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Seattle delivered an epic beatdown to the Broncos in Super Bowl 48, a game in which the Broncos boasted the league’s best offense. That game altered the way John Elway would build his roster in Denver, and after he saw how Seattle dominated on the defensive side of the football, he went out and signed some of the best defensive players in football to help.

Bringing in DeMarcus Ware, T.J. Ward, and Aqib Talib among some other key pieces would ultimately prove to be a Super Bowl-winning decision for Elway, but not before the Broncos would lose to the Seahawks yet again in the 2014 season.

Denver traveled to Seattle with its new-look defense and lost in overtime on a Marshawn Lynch touchdown run in 2014.

Needless to say, there are still some fresh wounds between these old division foes, even though the Broncos have been historically dominant in this series.
