LSU Takes Out Miami

The Hurricanes were supposed to be the better team on Sunday night, but what was proved was that Miami still needs to close that gap in order to be “back”.

In Dallas, Miami battled LSU in a game that resulted in a one-sided affair as LSU came out on top, 33-17. The stat sheet shows Miami leading in literally every category. They out-gained LSU in total yards, 342-296.

They also had more first downs and better third down percentage but unfortunately, they also led in turnovers committed.

The Hurricanes have plenty of athletes on the entire roster but one glaring weakness reared its ugly head again and that’s mediocrity at the quarterback position.

It did not help that backup quarterback N’kosi Perry was suspended for the season opener. Current starter Malik Rosier struggled once again as he did to close out the 2017 season after the Pitt game.
