Chris Warren III, RB

Chris Warren III was set to transfer away from the Texas Longhorns program after three years of apparent under-usage but opted for the NFL instead.

Unfortunately for him, he was not drafted and is going to have to scratch and claw his way onto an NFL roster.

For you NFL history buffs, Warren’s name might sound familiar. His father — Chris Warren Jr. — was a three-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time All-Pro in his NFL career with the Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys, and Philadelphia Eagles.

Warren III is a big back like his father and has incredible athletic ability.

He put that on display in the team’s preseason opener, taking 13 carries for 86 yards.

The Raiders have some pretty good depth at running back, but Warren can find a way to make himself an asset in this offense. He showed excellent all-around abilities this past season at Texas despite extremely limited touches, leading the team with eight total touchdowns.

He could be a diamond in the rough for the Raiders.
