P.J. Hall, DL

The Oakland Raiders are counting on their new interior linemen providing a pass rush in 2018, headlined obviously by rookies P.J. Hall and Maurice Hurst.

In the team’s first preseason game, Hall notched a sack in which he showed off some phenomenal skills for a big man.

Hall got great leverage on the Detroit offensive lineman, moving him two different directions before tossing him to the side and making the sack.

The second round pick out of Sam Houston State was perhaps one of the most shocking day two picks after generating a bunch of hype as a workout warrior at his pro day.

Hall showed off incredible athleticism and strength and the Raiders rewarded him by taking him with the 25th pick in the second round when most people thought he would probably go early on day three or later on day two as a sleeper pick.

This player could end up being one of the best in the Raiders’ draft class in terms of instant impact. He gets great leverage with his size but he has phenomenal quickness and strength. As he hones his technique, he’s going to be really tough to handle.
